Finance Coordinator Role

We are seeking a detail-driven Finance Coordinator to join our Sydney-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your finance career within a dynamic Australian label known for its commitment to design, sustainability, and ethical values.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and support the operations of a brand celebrated for its timeless style and considered approach. While experience in retail or fashion is advantageous, it's not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage invoices, payments, and reconciliations ensuring accuracy and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end reporting including journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, BAS, FBT, and fixed asset register maintenance.
  • Oversee AP/AR processes and handle multi-currency and foreign exchange transactions.
  • Contribute to refining financial systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare and process payroll, superannuation, payroll tax, commissions, and manage leave liabilities and related reporting.
  • Draft contracts, maintain HR records, assist with onboarding, reviews, and monitor staff leave entitlements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in finance, accounts, or coordination roles.
  • Exposure to fashion, retail, or creative industries.
  • Proficient in Excel and Xero, and experience with Harmony is beneficial.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable in small, agile teams.
  • Finance-related qualifications desirable; full Australian working rights required.
