About the Role
  • This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong understanding of control systems networks, user accounts management, and log file interpretation.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for administering control systems, conducting fault analysis, and performing system modifications to ensure real-time reliability and optimal performance.
  • Additionally, the candidate will undertake training and maintain competency in train control systems, including required safety accreditations and licenses.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering control systems networks, including managing user accounts and interpreting log files during fault investigations and software upgrades.
  • Conducting fault analysis, performing maintenance, and system modifications to ensure real-time reliability and optimal performance of control systems.
  • Undertaking training and maintaining competency in train control systems, including required safety accreditations and licenses.
Requirements:
  • Formal qualifications in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • An understanding of scripting, network fundamentals, and configuration.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and achieve planned outcomes in a safety-critical environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail, with the capability to support diverse stakeholders and communicate ideas clearly.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing development and training.
