Job Title: Digital Lawyer

This role involves working collaboratively with other lawyers to provide strategic legal advice and services across ICT, digital, and commercial areas.

  • Work closely with other lawyers to deliver high-quality legal advice and services to support business objectives.
  • Support the development of innovative solutions to complex legal problems.
  • Draft documents and agreements related to software acquisition/licensing, product development, and intellectual property in information technology, digital transformation, and cloud service delivery.
  • Interpret and distil complex legal issues for preparation of documents and contractual documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of NSW and eligible to hold a current practising certificate as a solicitor.
  • Proven stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication capability.
  • Strong analytical ability, lateral thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Client-focused team player with adaptability and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Bachelor of Laws or equivalent; minimum 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience in Digital & Technology, Corporate & Commercial, IP, or Privacy law.
