Community Engagement Specialist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Manager to join our small, nimble team in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with principal donors, mosques, and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Stakeholders & Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including principal donors, mosques, and community organizations.
- Grow CRA Brand presence in the Adelaide community: Develop and implement strategies to increase Charity Right Australia Ltd's brand presence in the region, including local programs and physical presence.
- Represent CRA at events and networking opportunities: Represent Charity Right Australia Ltd at events and networking opportunities across the region, and plan and coordinate such events as needed.
- Partner with the marketing department: Collaborate with the marketing department to share ideas and help shape regional fundraising campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead active teams of volunteers and supporters.
- Experience working with community groups.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both with individuals and working in teams.
- Commitment to ethical excellence in all dealings and work.
- Solid understanding of Religious Giving from an Islamic Perspective and connections to members of the Muslim community and mosques.
- Broad knowledge of fundraising principles and ability to participate in all areas of the development cycle.
- Familiarity with task management and communication platforms like Asana, Slack, and Notion.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally within Adelaide.
