About the Team

Capacity Planning and Optimization

As a Capacity Planning Analyst in the Technology and Process team at TikTok, you will play a critical role in driving process and workflow improvement, as well as system improvement and automation. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and internal teams to develop strategic solutions and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement internal platforms for resource planning and optimization to empower operation efficiency.
  • Conduct user research and data analysis to translate user pain points to requirements.
  • Develop principles for resource allocation and generate comprehensive analytical reports considering business growth, cost efficiency, management optimization, and resource availability.
  • Collaborate with regional and business line leaders to align on business objectives and key strategies.
  • Mentor junior analysts to develop optimal planning solutions tailored to specific business needs.
  • Forecast demand and allocate resources for large-scale operational domains, particularly in content safety, ensuring the smooth operation of TikTok products.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in related/similar capability.
  • Proven experience in large-scale platform/system/tools design and/or implementation or similar capacity.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of capacity planning and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate insights and recommendations clearly in both written and verbal English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry knowledge in content safety, supply chain management, or financial sectors.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team environment, valuing diverse perspectives and demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
