Position Overview
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Teacher or Educator to contribute to our Early Learning Centre. The role involves collaborating with a dedicated team to observe, plan, implement, and assess educational programs, while also engaging with parents and the wider community. You will play a crucial role in the classroom alongside fellow educators.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a passionate Teacher/Educator with a strong Christian faith and active church involvement. Essential qualifications and skills include:
- NESA accreditation (for a teacher)
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently enrolled in a Diploma course) (for an Educator)
- Current Working With Children Check approval number
- First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications, along with Child Protection qualifications
- Able to work flexible hours throughout the year (for an Educator)
- Demonstrated integrity and ability to serve as a positive role model for children, families, and colleagues
- Familiarity with the National Quality Framework and The Early Years Learning Framework
- Collaborative and innovative educational practices
- Strong personal presentation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Highly motivated, reliable, and adaptable
- Excellent time management skills
