We're seeking a Technical Support Specialist in Bowen and Galilee Basin. The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in mechanical, automotive, or diesel fitting, and experience in mobile equipment servicing or field-based technical support.

  • Our team provides technical support for on-site MPUs and explosive delivery equipment, performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs in the field.
  • Assist with calibration, system checks, and operational readiness of mobile units, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in remote environments.

The key responsibilities include providing technical support, performing routine inspections, assisting with calibration, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, completing and submitting service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.

Requirements:

  • A trade qualification in mechanical, automotive, or diesel fitting.
  • Experience in mobile equipment servicing or field-based technical support.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability in hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • A current manual driver's licence (HR licence desirable or willingness to obtain).
  • Familiarity with explosive delivery systems (MPUs) is advantageous.
  • A sound understanding of safety and environmental protocols in mining or industrial sites.
