About the Role

Make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person by becoming a compassionate volunteer.

We are seeking a caring individual to visit our elderly client in the beautiful South Coast suburb of Nowra. Our client enjoys reminiscing about her travels, sipping coffee, and socializing while getting out and about. She would like you to visit her for a cuppa and a chat or, if the weather permits, head into town to a café together.

Regular visits from volunteers can enhance the quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Visit clients in their homes
  • Engage in activities such as reminiscing about travel experiences, playing games, or watching movies together
  • Accompany clients on outings to local cafes or shops

Key Responsibilities:

  • 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for
  • Available to commit to regular visits (weekly to fortnightly) between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Sunday
