**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an Aircraft Handling Professional to join our Ground Handling Team. As the 'face of the company' to clients and passengers, this role is responsible for the delivery of Ground Handling Services while maintaining the safety and security of the ramp.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform aircraft handling functions including marshalling aircraft on the ramp (directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft)
  • Transfer cargo (including luggage) to other gates, other airlines and to passengers
  • Handle customer baggage, airfreight and company material with courtesy, promptness, accuracy and care
  • Ensure compliance with Uniform & PPE requirements and manage GSE effectively
  • Operate equipment safely and securely, testing it for serviceability before each shift

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • A valid Australian driver licence
  • A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or ability to obtain one
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task, priorities and meet deadlines
  • Customer focus to deliver exceptional service
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Manual Handling procedures
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient in report writing, in plain and clear English
  • Intermediate skills for Microsoft Office Suite
