The Opportunity

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Overhead Wiring team, including staff utilization, project delivery, and development of new revenue streams. The successful candidate will manage existing customer relationships and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the successful delivery of construction projects in operating railway environments.

Collaborate with other management and engineering functions to achieve project goals.

Monitor physical and financial progress, and assist with forecasting and signal design management.

Review project scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements, and establish project baselines within agreed timeframes.

Serve as the primary point of contact with customers, cultivating and managing relationships in line with UGL's principles.

Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

About You

Proven experience in project management, with a strong background in rail and overhead wiring.

Degree or diploma in an engineering or related discipline, or a management degree.

Demonstrated expertise in project control techniques, earned value management, S-curve reporting, risk management, and project financial forecasting.
