The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to join our Norwest Corporate practice. As a Senior Associate/Special Counsel, you will work closely with partners Brendon Noney and Matthew Rowe on a diverse range of matters, including private treaty M&A, general commercial advice, franchisor work, and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on structuring and documenting commercial arrangements, including procurement, supply, and distribution agreements.
- Providing transactional and general commercial work for high-profile franchisor clients and IP, Technology, and Media clients.
- Assisting with corporate governance and director duties advice.
- Supporting business set up, structuring, shareholder agreements, and related documentation.
Requirements
- Corporate advisory experience in M&A, general corporate/commercial law from a reputable firm background.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
