Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our Systems Integration Team based in Mount Gambier. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and commissioning robust and stable control systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather project requirements and assist with proposal preparation
- Design, develop, test, and commission control systems for key strategic projects
- Identify new technologies and practices suitable for implementation at Borg Manufacturing
- Siemens PLC/HMI
- Rockwell PLC/HMI
- Wonderware SCADA
- Ignition SCADA
- Fanuc Robots
- Microsoft.Net and SQL Server
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems, Mechatronics, Software, or Electrical Engineering (or similar degrees). Experience in PLC and SCADA is essential, with in-depth knowledge of Rockwell and/or Siemens Automation suite of software and hardware. Good understanding of complex Electrical Schematic and Control Diagrams, Fluid Power Systems, and Robotics is also required. Excellent communication and time management skills are a must.
This is a full-time permanent position within our Systems Integration team. To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated and willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, and drug and alcohol testing.
Salary will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
