Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and detailing machinery and parts using AutoCAD and 3D Modelling software, commissioning automation systems, and procuring materials and parts for engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and detailing of machinery and parts using AutoCAD and 3D Modelling software.
- Commissioning automation systems for manufacturing plants and warehouses.
- Procurement of materials and parts for engineering projects.
- Machine construction and testing in our workshop.
- Factory automation design for plant upgrades, optimization, and new projects.
- Layout drawings for project proposal, planning, and execution.
- Calculations to analyze throughput and performance.
Requirements
- Experience in 2D or 3D CAD drafting, including ability to produce manufacturing drawings.
- Experience in Mechanical design and Automation.
- Ability to understand and apply mechanical concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
About You
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering (or similar degrees), Diploma Mechanical Engineering with experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and be proactive.
- Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet targets.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently either independently or as part of a team.
- Hold a current driver's license.
