Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

As a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist, you will provide intensive family-focused intervention and short-term care coordination. This will involve comprehensive assessment, collaborative goal setting and care planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for children, young people, and their families who are experiencing acute and complex mental health problems.

You will work in collaboration with the CYMHS OSCA team members to develop and support best clinical practices that are associated with assertive outreach services and optimal outcomes for young people and families.

  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet the needs of children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify the most effective interventions and strategies for individual clients.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery of services.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families, and will be committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care.
