The role of a Learning Support Assistant is multifaceted, requiring a unique blend of skills and qualities. You will be working closely with teachers to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students.
Key responsibilities include providing support and assistance in classroom activities, school routines, and the care and support of students with disabilities. This may involve administering assessments, delivering interventions under the direction of a teacher, and implementing adjustments required for individual students or groups.
Successful applicants will possess excellent organisational, interpersonal, and administrative skills. They must also demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Catholic education and its mission. Experience working with students with disabilities (K-12) is highly desirable.
Qualifications- A current NSW Working with Children Check number is essential for this position.
- Completion of anaphylaxis training is also a requirement.
