My People Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver person-centered care and support to clients with varying levels of disability
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribute to a safe and supportive team environment
- At least 2+ years' experience working in a disability support role
- Experience working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, Mental Health, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Intellectual Disabilities, and other complex needs
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
- A current Police Check, Vaccinations, CPR, and First Aid certification
- Driving License and access to a reliable vehicle
- Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability, and/or Mental Health Care Qualification (or equivalent)
- Competitive pay rates and weekly payroll
- Induction and ongoing support, training, and development opportunities
- Supported 24/7 by a dedicated duty manager
