Your New RoleThe onsite role provides advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care, and intervention to Aged Care Residents within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner. As a clinical expert, you will provide high-level clinical nursing, leadership, management, and governance to patients, working collaboratively with the wider medical team to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients' health concerns and promote a healthy lifestyle with a strong focus on preventative health care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care, and intervention to Aged Care Residents
- Lead and manage clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and outcomes
- Bachelor's Degree of Nursing
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner
- Advanced clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of illness and injury and health promotion relevant to the role and within individual scope of practice
- Demonstrated extensive professional and/or leadership experience
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and health regulating acts and legislative obligations
