We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counsellor to join our team at Wellways Australia Limited. As a Counsellor, you will be responsible for delivering in-person counselling services that meet the principles and practice delivery of an inclusive, person-centred approach.
The ideal candidate will have experience in creating, analysing and utilising data and information to generate and develop a range of products (programs, publications, services). You will also have a strong understanding of social inclusion and diversity, as well as experience with clinical therapies including Rogerian and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
This is a part-time opportunity based in Ipswich/Toowoomba QLD, with a salary package of approximately $51.51 per hour plus superannuation. The successful candidate will be required to deliver outreach services and work with carers from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver effective carer counselling services with the flexible application of evidence-based clinical therapies
- Manage external stakeholder relationships and develop services
- Contribute to the development of community relationships to enable the delivery of counselling services to specific carer cohort groups
