About the role:

This Mental Health Specialist position requires delivering high-quality clinical services assessment, treatment, and evaluation within a multidisciplinary team.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health assessments, case management, interventions, or group work as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing mental health education programs for health professionals and community-based services
  • Participating in quality and service improvement activities
  • Liaising with Senior Intake Officers to monitor client pathways

Requirements:

  • Must have one of the following: General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse OR Social Worker with AASW registration/eligibility OR Counsellor with Level 2 PACFA or ACA registration
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice
  • Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilising high-level communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to professional development through education and networking
  • Eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card
  • NDIS worker screening clearance
