About the role:
This Mental Health Specialist position requires delivering high-quality clinical services assessment, treatment, and evaluation within a multidisciplinary team.
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health assessments, case management, interventions, or group work as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing mental health education programs for health professionals and community-based services
- Participating in quality and service improvement activities
- Liaising with Senior Intake Officers to monitor client pathways
Requirements:
- Must have one of the following: General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse OR Social Worker with AASW registration/eligibility OR Counsellor with Level 2 PACFA or ACA registration
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice
- Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilising high-level communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to professional development through education and networking
- Eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card
- NDIS worker screening clearance
