Preschool Teacher

A dedicated educator is sought to join our school community. We are a small primary school with a current enrolment of 163 students, situated on Dharawal Country.

About the Role

We support a diverse, multicultural community with students and families from many nationalities contributing to our rich school culture. Currently, 80% of our student population has a language background other than English representing thirteen different language backgrounds.

  • Demonstrated capacity to develop and implement a preschool program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, incorporating age-appropriate pedagogies.
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with students and families from diverse backgrounds through effective communication, time management and interpersonal skills.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach, you must commence the application process concurrently with your job application.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing preschool programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
