About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our team at the Department of Treasury & Finance TAS. As a key member of our Procurement and Assessment Branch, you will play a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and advice to senior stakeholders on whole-of-government contracts, fleet vehicle arrangements, and prequalification and Technology Services List assessments.
  2. Contract Management: Lead and manage complex contracts, ensuring compliance with government policies and procedures, and delivering value for money.
  3. Procurement and Assessment: Develop and implement effective procurement and assessment strategies, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the Department.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of contract and procurement specialists, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, and provide strategic guidance to senior stakeholders.
  • Contract Management Expertise: Extensive experience in contract management, including negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution.
