Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement best practice health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage and coach staff to ensure they meet their key deliverables and address performance issues proactively.
  • Develop and expand the knowledge of the team, including mentoring Cadets.
  • Optimize site construction activities to ensure the most productive use of available materials and construction resources.
  • Thoroughly understand the tender process and its relevant components.
  • Maintain overall quality assurance while ensuring building compliance.
  • Monitor and address environmental site-specific issues.
  • Inform the Project Manager of potential operational impacts.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, sub-contractors, authorities, delegates, and consultants.
  • Monitor and update project programs on a weekly basis.
  • Manage day-to-day site control of the project.
  • Ensure site setup adheres to the code of practice.
  • Monitor and maintain construction standards.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Site Manager.
  • Experience in detail-orientated bespoke projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of building codes and guidelines.
  • Ability to drive projects to meet deadlines on time and on budget.
  • Proven experience effectively managing a team, including sub-contractors.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements and their application.
  • Previous exposure to Procore is an advantage.
