Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Mechanic to join our team at our Cairns branch.

This role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out service, maintenance, repair and rebuild work on a range of agricultural and construction machinery.

Responsibilities include checking your own work to ensure it meets the manufacturer's requirements, helping train apprentices and assisting other workshop personnel.

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art facilities and receive expert training and ongoing support. You will also participate in the on-call roster and attend offsite breakdowns, providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

About this role:

  • Hold an Agricultural mechanic qualification or any other relevant mechanical qualification
  • Work safely, be a team player, excellent communicator and problem-solver
  • Hold HR and forklift licence (desirable)
  • Have New Holland, Case IH, John Deere or Kubota experience (desirable)

We welcome second to fourth year agricultural mechanic apprentices, overseas and interstate agricultural mechanics who are eager to learn from the best and become part of our award-winning team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural and construction equipment
  2. Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on complex equipment systems
  3. Work efficiently and effectively within the workshop environment
  4. Assist in the training and development of apprentices and junior staff members
