Job Title: Kitchen Attendant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • SUPPORTING THE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATION OF THE KITCHEN THROUGH FOOD PREPARATION AND DISHWASHING
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen, including cutlery, crockery, and commercial equipment
  • Recycling and removal of rubbish
  • Assisting chefs with food preparation as required
  • Adhering to all sanitation and chemical use guidelines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Great energy and a positive attitude
  • Good time management skills and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance, demonstrating pride in presentation
  • Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
