Trade Support Role

The Trade Assistant will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects across mechanical and electrical disciplines.

The role involves providing physical support to trades, as well as spotting, deliveries, warehouse management, and operation of construction equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Trades: Assisting with commissioning and de-commissioning of assets and plant
  • Installation and Augmentation: Installation and augmentation of assets and plant
  • Maintenance and Capital Work: Carrying out programmed maintenance and capital work
  • Clients Communication: Maintaining open and proactive communication with clients
  • Data Requirements: Completing data requirements for clients

Other Responsibilities: Deliveries and procurement collections, shadowing tradespeople, rostering for efficient operation, and collaborative engagement with external trade stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in similar roles within the water industry or as a TA in maintenance. You will also need experience using HIAB trucks, driving tilt tray trucks, and confined spaces experience. Additionally, you will need to be willing to upskill and undertake additional training for ongoing development.
