Job Title: Housekeeping and Cleaning Officer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping and Cleaning Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role within a healthcare environment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hospital facilities, including floors, surfaces, and equipment;
  • Providing high-quality cleaning services to meet the needs of patients, visitors, and staff;
  • Ensuring compliance with infection control guidelines and procedures;
  • Operating industrial floor polishers and scrubbers safely and effectively;
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Prior experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role within a healthcare environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong focus on providing exceptional customer service;
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and navigate hospital environments;
  • Knowledge of infection control guidelines and procedures.
