Role Summary

This position involves providing specialist support to individuals with complex needs.

  • Deliver personal care, mobility and daily living assistance in a respectful and dignified manner.
  • Implement Positive Behaviour Support plans and manage risk strategies effectively.
  • Support customers in accessing community services, appointments and social activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting.
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals and support coordinators.
  • Contribute to a stable routine for the customer.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principles, a calm and resilient attitude, and a genuine commitment to enhancing quality of life. The successful applicant should have:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Valid Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
