About the Position

This full-time position is located within the Population Child Health Clinical Research Group at UNSW's School of Clinical Medicine. The successful candidate will contribute to the enhancement of research quality and funding to improve child and adolescent health globally.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health-services research, public health or children's health, with a demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality academic research and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead the implementation evaluation of paediatric healthcare models, including the PEACH study and the MRFF-funded Transition Compass study.
  • To develop and implement research protocols, including ethics and research governance applications.
  • To collaborate with researchers, clinicians and other stakeholders to identify research priorities and opportunities.
  • To contribute to the development of research reports, publications and presentations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A PhD in health-services research, public health or children's health.
  • Demonstrated experience in qualitative research methods and basic statistical analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to establish priorities, manage time and meet deadlines.
