We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Natural Hazard Modeller. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in modelling and analysis, with a strong background in actuarial science or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced modelling processes for natural hazard budgeting and reinsurance program optimisation
  • Analyse and interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality modelling outputs and insights
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate modelling workflows

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, preferably with exposure to general insurance
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and mathematical modelling techniques
  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL, and SAS; Python experience desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Mathematics
