Engineering Teacher

Bendigo Kangan Institute is seeking a passionate and experienced Engineering Teacher to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Engineering Teacher to deliver high-quality vocational education and training in engineering disciplines. The successful candidate will inspire and educate the next generation of engineers, ensuring they are well-prepared for industry demands.

• Design and deliver engaging learning programs in engineering subjects
• Conduct competency-based assessments in classroom, workplace, and online environments
• Develop innovative teaching resources and flexible learning strategies
• Maintain industry currency and vocational competence in engineering
• Comply with VET quality standards and relevant legislation
• Contribute to program evaluation and improvement initiatives

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110)
• Vocational qualifications Engineering/Mechanical trade qualification (essential)
• A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
• Relevant engineering qualifications at least to the level to be delivered and assessed

• Proven experience in the engineering industry
• Strong understanding of current engineering practices and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners
