Senior Registered Nurse Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team in Alice Springs. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nursing staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Providing routine, urgent, and emergency care to patients">
  • Triage and provide medical advice to patients within the scope of practice">
  • Performing various clinical procedures such as checking blood pressures, weights, EKGs, drawing blood, and collecting urine samples">
  • Receiving, dispatching, directing, and filing relevant mail and laboratory and x-ray reports">
  • Responding to emergency situations as needed">
  • Maintaining the clinics in a manner suitable for dispensing care">
  • Other duties as required">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • You must be an Australian citizen">
  • You must possess a medical license to practice nursing in Australia">
  • You must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution">
  • You must have a minimum of five years of experience working as a registered/licensed nurse">
  • You must have a minimum of three years of experience managing, supervising, and evaluating nursing staff">
  • You must have knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques">
  • You must have alertness and skill in providing care and reacting to emergency situations">
  • You must have knowledge of training methods and sufficient interpersonal skills">
  • You must have practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and guidelines">
  • You must maintain current CPR certification">
