About the RoleAs an Employment Coach, you will provide tailored support to individuals, helping them achieve their vocational goals and build sustainable career pathways. You will be motivating, mentoring, and supporting personal growth, tailoring your approach to each individual's requirements.
Responsibilities- Provide hands-on, consultative support to a small group of participants, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Mentor, encourage skills development, and increase people's capacity for work, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Deliver person-centered supports to participants, some transitioning from school to work, addressing their specific requirements and goals.
- Offer on-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration, ensuring a smooth transition into the workforce.
- Collaborate with employers to provide support and consultation, helping to create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
We welcome those from various backgrounds, including Youth Services, NDIS, Community Services, and Employment Services. You are a resilient and creative problem solver, comfortable working in a collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact and genuinely help individuals with disabilities achieve their employment goals.
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Have current First Aid and CPR certification
- Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
- Able to obtain a Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Able to successfully complete a NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement
- Travel as required for service delivery and support of participants
- Available to work part-time Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
