Deliver electricity across Queensland through our 'poles and wires' businesses Energex and Ergon Energy Network. Our retailer, Ergon Energy Retail sells this electricity to customers throughout regional Queensland. These essential service activities are supported by a range of innovative products and services delivered through our brand.

We're seeking highly motivated individuals with an Instrumental & Control Engineering qualification recognised by an institution within Australia.
Job Responsibilities- You'll provide engineering support to your assigned workgroup by undertaking specific investigations, risk-based assessments, engineering research and analysis, design, and/or providing project assistance as required.
- Participate in development opportunities provided and sponsored by the Graduate Engineer Development Program e.g., coursework, seminars, and team activities.
- Take ownership for career planning and personal development while working with your allocated mentor, including monitoring and reviewing progress against performance criteria to ensure you have the skills required to grow your career.
- Contribute to the completion of project/team deliverables through the timely application of engineering research, modelling, techniques, and methods to allocated tasks.
- Imaginative, passionate, and motivated to succeed in your career. Work safely, think creatively, embrace diversity, and want to engage, listen, learn, and expand your knowledge.
- Recently graduated (within the last two years), with a Bachelor of Engineering from an institution recognised within Australia with a strong academic record.
- A great collaborator and communicator and enjoy working in an inclusive and supportive team.
- Adaptive and innovative thinker.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident.
