Job Title: Material Handler

At Pinpoint Personnel, we are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our team at our Brendale location. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, conduct regular inventory counts, and manage inventory levels.
  • Material Handling: Receive, unload, and organise materials, replenish production lines, and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Warehouse Organisation: Organise and maintain the warehouse layout for efficient operations, ensure proper material storage, and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate material needs and delays with production personnel, assist with supplier returns and exchanges.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Input data into the inventory system, handle receipting, generate reports on inventory levels and order fulfillment, and analyse inventory trends to improve operational efficiency.
Competencies and Skills Required:
  • Experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
  • Licensed to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to drive and tow a trailer.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
