About the Role

HammondCare is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of care for people in need. As a leading health and aged care provider, we strive to set the standard for relationship-based care for individuals with complex needs.

This role is part of the Dementia Centre team, supporting people living with dementia who are transitioning between different levels of care. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of care provided by focusing on capability and capacity building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs and training initiatives for staff, caregivers, and stakeholders involved in dementia care.
  • Equip the team with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to deliver exceptional, relationship-based care.
  • Foster a supportive and enabling environment that promotes the well-being of individuals with dementia.

Requirements

  • Commitment to HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation, and Mission in Action.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in delivering programs in a face-to-face setting and online.
  • Proven experience in training and education, ideally within a healthcare or residential care setting.
  • Dynamic personality with strong rapport-building skills and excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Desirable

  • Current Australian driver's licence with a safe driving record and willingness to travel intra and interstate.
