We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Firefighter to join our team at RAAF Base Gingin in Western Australia. As a Firefighter, you will play a crucial role in responding to incidents, including airfield, structural, and bushfire management.

This exciting position offers a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Maintaining operational readiness in accordance with relevant procedures
  • Ensuring all relevant administrative duties associated with operational duties are performed
  • Complying with operational health and safety requirements
  • Undertaking training and drills as required to maintain operational readiness

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Certificate II or III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
  • A current HR driver's license
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to a level of negative vetting 1 (secret)
