We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our projects.
Job DescriptionAs a Senior Project Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the technical aspects of our projects. This includes developing and implementing project plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
You will work closely with our Engineering Manager to prepare reports, attend technical meetings, and support technical activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing technical solutions within assigned scopes, monitoring document submissions, and executing project technical activities in line with procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Engineering Manager in preparing reports and attending technical meetings;
- Implementing technical solutions within assigned scopes;
- Monitoring document submissions;
- Executing project technical activities in line with procedures;
- Ensuring that project objectives are clearly communicated to the project team and monitoring technical project activities are aligned with the project schedule;
- Ensuring the staffing, workload analysis, and resource allocation to specific activities;
- Preparing, checking, and submitting Technical Change Notices (TCNs);
- Ensuring that project technical criticalities/risk list and management is implemented, continuously updated, and evaluated with the support of interested Functional Managers, Engineering Managers, and Project Managers;
- Executing correct Document Management (submission and transmittal process) part of overall Design Management;
- Contributing to correct Configuration Management process being in place;
- Ensuring interface for technical definition and construction document delivery during execution of on-site activities;
- Guaranteeing execution of Verification activities of project engineering documents and of documents issued by Work Package Leaders (WPLs) by monitoring their execution by the Project WPLs according to V&V Plan;
- Contributing to definition and execution of Testing and Commissioning (T&C) activities (e.g., acting as interface with other technology units involved in the project);
- Ensuring all activities undertaken are conducted with due regard to high level of continuous improvement;

To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with background in Systems Engineering;
- 5+ years' experience in a project management role, and experience in rail, systems, and signalling is highly desirable;
- Experience in real-time system engineering; testing and integration activities, software verification and validation best practices, and safety critical techniques;
- Estimating and negotiations;
- Demonstrated ability to work in diverse cultural organization with multiple key stakeholders displaying highly polished interpersonal and communication skills;
- Experience in effective resource management and working with large multi-cultural team;
- Strong working relationships with technology providers;
- Agile mindset, able to take prompt decisions in fast-paced environment;
