Job Overview

This role focuses on delivering person-centred leisure and lifestyle programs within our care homes.

As a key member of the team, you will oversee the planning and execution of recreational activities that promote holistic wellbeing for residents.

  • Manage a team of wellbeing carers to ensure the delivery of high-quality programmes.
  • Assess individual resident capabilities, needs, and problems to inform programme development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of wellbeing carers with excellent leadership skills.
  • Develop and implement documented assessments determining individual resident capabilities, needs, and problems.
  • Maintain compliance with infection control and work health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or degree level qualifications.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or caring for the elderly within an aged or community care setting.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate and high-level organisational and time management skills.
