Physiotherapist - Lesmurdie Opportunity

About the Role

Amana Living is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at our Lesmurdie facility. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing assessments and interventions for resident mobility, falls risk, and related musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to address resident needs
• Implement and supervise pain management programs, as well as treatment programs to address problems of movement and/or function
• Consult on the selection of aids and equipment for specific and general use
• Supervise and guide physiotherapy assistants and students
• Contribute to site-based meetings related to physiotherapy programs and maintain timely and accurate documentation

About You

• Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) Degree
• Current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Experience in aged care assessment and rehabilitation, including equipment prescription
• Demonstrated excellence in specialist assessment and delivery of evidence-based physiotherapy interventions
• Well-developed computer skills and ability to work with clients with unmet needs and responsive behaviors
