Healthcare Professional - Remote Queensland Opportunity

This is a unique chance to provide high-quality clinical care in a challenging and rewarding remote work environment. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Paramedic to join our team at the Surat Basin site.

The role involves delivering primary and emergency healthcare, conducting daily medical clinics, managing work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses, and facilitating return-to-work planning.

Key responsibilities also include liaising with internal and external healthcare providers for medevacs and specialist referrals, conducting drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, and facilitating health assessments such as audiometry and spirometry.

In addition, the successful candidate will facilitate health-related training programs, maintain medical facilities and equipment to a high standard, and promote workplace health initiatives.

We require a current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Advanced Life Support and CPR Certification, Trauma Qualification, and Current certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing.

Strong communication skills and the ability to engage in multidisciplinary team settings are highly regarded. Experience in remote or resource sector health service delivery is also beneficial.
