We are looking for an individual with a deep understanding of organisational governance structures and service model design processes.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated track records of completing similar projects, particularly those focused on First Nations organisational governance and service models for First Nations FDV services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop governance structures and service models that meet the needs of First Nations women
  • Provide leadership and coordination for the project
  • Work closely with First Nations elders and leaders, particularly First Nations women with lived experience

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work to deadlines.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of completing similar projects
  • Understanding of organisational governance structures and service model design processes
  • Deep understanding of trauma informed and cultural security principles and practice
  • Ability to conduct effective consultations with First Nations elders and leaders
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of FDV from a First Nations perspective

About the Role

This is a 16 hour per week fixed term contract over a 3 year period. The successful applicant will be required to meet the specified requirements and have the necessary qualifications and experience.
