A Behaviour Support Practitioner is sought by Hanrahan Health to provide positive behaviour support services.
- Hanrahan Health seeks an experienced professional in the field of Positive Behaviour Support to deliver high-quality, evidence-based person-centred and outcome-focused support.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Assisting NDIS participants to identify needs through assessment and planning.
- Developing, evaluating and delivering evidence-based support plans within complex support environments.
- Creating meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework.
- Ensuring plans reflect participants' goals, passions and strengths.
- Building capacity and strengths of those supporting participants.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with evidence of qualification.
- Significant experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and report writing skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Genuine passion for the disability sector.
