We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. This fixed term position offers an exciting opportunity to kick start your career in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team. The position covers inpatient and outpatient client care as allocated by the Physiotherapist-in-charge with an emphasis on general medicine and cancer care.

Duties:

  • Assess, plan, organise, evaluate and deliver quality patient centred Physiotherapy care in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Conduct thorough, systematic assessments that address clients' issues and concerns, including referrals to other services where required.
  • Use clinical judgement to formulate individualised treatment plans across all core areas of physiotherapy.
  • Provide information and consult with clients about treatment plans.
  • Deliver effective treatment and provide clients with self-management skills.
  • Reassess clients and progress treatment when appropriate.

About You:

  • A recognised degree in Physiotherapy and authorisation to practice as a Physiotherapist by a relevant regulatory body.
  • Competence and good clinical judgement in providing individualised treatment for a broad range of clients.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of both the multidisciplinary team and the physiotherapy team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective and efficient delivery of support to a diverse population.
  • Ability to seek assistance and realise professional limitations.
  • Commitment to personal responsibilities, professional development and evidence based practise.
