Diagnostic Cardiologist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced specialist to provide diagnostic cardiology services and provision of consultative services at regular outpatient clinics.

This is an ongoing appointment creating an exciting opportunity for a Diagnostic Cardiologist to contribute to our team.

The role requires expertise in various cardiac diagnostic tests including exercise stress testing, electrocardiogram, ambulatory electrocardiogram, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and pacemaker interrogation and programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing diagnostic cardiology services and consultative services at regular outpatient clinics
  • Contributing to the development of departmental strategies and initiatives
  • Participating in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in medicine (or equivalent) and relevant postgraduate qualifications
  • Current registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Experience in diagnostic cardiology with a focus on clinical leadership and service improvement
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
