Job Title:

Workforce Director for Allied Health Professionals

  • Lead a team of experienced healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve workforce management and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive excellence in care delivery and staff wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:

The Workforce Director will be responsible for:

  • Leading the implementation of recommendations from the Victorian AHA Workforce Project Recommendations.
  • Coordinating student clinical placements across Peninsula Health.
  • Providing operational governance to multidisciplinary AHAs working in acute inpatient and subacute inpatient services.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Recent experience in managing delivery of Allied Health services at a senior level.
  • Extensive clinical knowledge and skills in working with AHAs.
  • Strong financial management and problem-solving skills.
