Allied Health Workforce Strategist

The Allied Health Workforce Planning Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the recruitment, retention, and productivity of allied health professionals within a healthcare organization.
This role requires strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategic workforce plans
- Managing projects and programs to improve recruitment and retention of allied health clinicians
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain partnerships and promote evidence-based practice
- Championing practice change by supporting clinicians, managers, and directors to translate evidence into practice through quality improvement initiatives
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
* A qualification in an allied health discipline (e.g., occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology)
* Current registration with the relevant professional association (if applicable)
* Eligibility for membership with the appropriate professional association
* At least seven years of experience as an allied health professional
* Postgraduate qualifications in management, research, leadership, or public health (strongly preferred)
