We are seeking an Explosive Ordnance Specialist to provide technical expertise and consultancy services in a project setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong scientific or manufacturing background, with experience in pyrotechnics, propellants, and high explosives.
This role requires providing specialist advice on fuze and ignition system safety and design, as well as developing and reviewing technical assessments related to these systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing procedures, guidance, and templates for the development of fuze and ignition assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and/or review technical assessments related to fuze and ignition system engineering changes.
- Implement appropriate procedures and guidance for the development of fuze and ignition assessments.
- Provide specialist engineering and technical advice relating to fuze and ignition system design and safety.
- A strong scientific or manufacturing background.
- Experience in pyrotechnics, propellants, and high explosives.
- Ability to develop and review technical assessments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
