Job Title: Specialist Gynaecologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Limestone Coast region. As a Specialist Gynaecologist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical services in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, leading and collaborating with teams, mentoring and teaching trainees, interns, and students, participating in clinical audits, quality improvement, and research activities, and contributing to continuous education and professional development.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality care to patients while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Mentor and teach trainees, interns, and students in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of best practice guidelines and standards in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
  • Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registerable with the Medical Board of Australia as Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
  • Proven commitment to Obstetrics and Gynaecology and teaching.
  • Strong clinical, research, and quality improvement experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and establish strong regional connections.
