Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in Obstetrics and Gynaecology?
Job OpportunityAs a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you will be responsible for delivering expert clinical care to patients in antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and neonatal settings.
- You will perform and assist in major and minor gynaecological procedures, ensuring safe and high-quality surgical outcomes.
- Provide leadership in quality assurance and clinical governance within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology service.
- Supervise, mentor, and teach junior doctors, GP registrars, and medical students, fostering a strong learning culture.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support seamless patient-centred care across the pregnancy continuum.
In this role, you will also be required to hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent), with appropriate specialist qualifications, and be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), or an equivalent recognised qualification, is also required.
