Indigenous Collections and Research Specialist

Job Overview
This role involves coordinating the Indigenous Initiatives Project, which focuses on curating, preserving, and providing access to materials related to Indigenous cultures, histories, languages, and research.
The successful candidate will identify and manage materials relevant to Indigenous cultures, histories, languages, and contemporary issues in line with Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property principles.
Key responsibilities include working closely with stakeholders to connect with communities across and outside the university to progress the aims of the Reconciliation Action Plan, Strategic Plan, and Library Plan.
A degree qualification in a relevant field, extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training is required.
Maintaining a high level of cultural sensitivity and awareness is essential for this position.
